Creating Good Relevant Splash Pages Is Key!

Yes, creating good relevant splash pages will increase your success. This is your lead into your autoresponder. So be creative and think about it as solving a problem. What do people need and want when they are viewing sites in traffic exchanges and safelist? They are not looking for pills, lotions or potions…….and certainly not pink elephants. lol

Today while surfing some of my favorite traffic exchanges, I noticed some ones page that came up, that was advertising woman’s scarves. Now I have nothing against building a business that involves selling woman’s scarves, but a traffic exchange is no place to advertise them in, this is not what people are looking for that are surfing the exchanges. People surfing traffic exchanges are looking for more money and more traffic, so anything you advertise should focus around helping them get more of both. Where ever you advertise at, make sure what you are advertising is relevant and there is a market there to sell to.

I Also noticed a lot of people’s pages not loading, remember you only have so much time to capture your viewers attention, usually under 20 seconds, so you want a very fast loading page (A splash page or squeeze page), not an entire webpage loaded with tons of graphics and such, it wont load fast enough for most.

Make sure to use Catchy bold or highlighted headlines, always brand yourself with a picture of you and your real name, create more then one splash page, to test and find out which ones work best, then focus on the ones that pull in the best results. Remember you are trying to build a real business, and just throwing up any old thing is not going to work, it takes time to learn how to get the results you desire.

Just because there are sites out there that tell you, that you can make 3 grand in 6 months, dosnt mean its the truth, developing a real income online takes time, learning and effort.

Create Your Own Splash Pages Free…In Minutes

I wanted to let you know about a new site I joined a few weeks ago, that really is a great tool for building your business. It is called instantsplash, I finally got around to building a few splash pages with it yesterday.

Instantsplash is really simple to use and create some great looking splash pages, you can even add video with just copy and paste. Here are some of the examples of the splash pages I have made so far:

I have started using them in some traffic exchanges so far, so I will keep you posted on the results. I am using them to promote our TEP   squeeze pages that we are using with are system (Real Traffic Exchange Profits) here to build our email marketing list.

Now if you upgrade in instantsplash you can actually add your autorsponder code for TEP,  You would find that code in your trafficwave back office under the autoresponder you have set up for TE Profits.

This is also the first time I have added my own video to one of my splash pages, it is really simple to do. I used a small video recorder I have and then just uploaded it to youtube. You then take the embed code for your video from youtube and copy and paste it in the spot titled (video embed code) in instant splash. Here is the video I made:

The important thing when creating your own splash or squeeze pages, is to be original, creative and make sure to brand yourself. You can see by clicking on my example splash pages above how I am making sure to brand myself and my blog real traffic exchange profits. The thing I love about instant splash is it’s so simple to use and set up………and it is a great downline builder  for some of the programs we are using here.

**One last little helpful tip, you want your video if you decide to create one to automatically start playing when your page opens up in the traffic exchange, it is another way to grab the surfers attention. Here is how you get your youtube video in your splash or squeeze page to automatically play.

To make the youtube video play automatically just add this code(  &autoplay=1  )to both of the youtube urls in the embed code. For example:

You basically remove the  ( &hl=en_US&fs=1&) at the end of each url and replace it with ( &autoplay=1)
