Are You Taking Time For Yourself And Your Family?

I know I have been guilty of this in the past, sometimes I would get so busy I would forget to stop what I was working on and just take some time for myself and my family. I know a lot of you have done the same thing, and what we always need to remember is if we do not take care of ourselves we can not take time for those we care about most.

I do not know about you, but I know for me one of the biggest reasons and motivations I started building an internet business was so I could give my family the things they needed most, which included spending more time together. A lot of us get so focused on reaching certain business goals we forget about the goals we set out to do this for in the first place .

So this is my intent with this post is to encourage you to make sure you keep yourself healthy, energized and take some time to relax and spend quality time with your loved ones…………..they need us to! You dont want to make a boat load of money and then be in such bad shape you can not enjoy it?

I try to set up a schedule now a days so that I do not forget to take some time out, my family use to think I was crazy when I first started out, I would be working at my computer all night long after work, sometimes into the wee hours in the morning. I pretty much got stuck into a rut, if I was not at my job………you would know where to find me……….because I did and thought about nothing else. Until one day I realized I had gained 25 pounds and couldnt remember the last time I did anything other than work.  I was always putting off everyone, tomorrow I would say, and then tomorrow would come and you know the routine.

Setting goals in every aspect of your life is extremely important, otherwise your life will become very unbalanced and so will you. True success does not come from money alone, I would deem myself a complete failure if the only important thing I ever accomplished was making money, but I neglected every other aspect of my life. Setting up a schedule is a great way to keep everything balanced and it helps prevent us from putting everything else off and getting burnt out. We all need time away from our computer screens…….

Here are some things I do every week to try and keep my own life well balanced

1. Eat right

2. Exercise

3. Faith And Spiritual

4. Spend time with my family

5. Take the time to help some one else

6. Hobbies

7. Work on my business

8. Spend time with friends, I have lots of backyard barbeques

9. Travel

10. Spend some time outdoors, fishing camping, hunting

I still work very hard and am very diligent about reaching my business goals…………..but I just know I need to play as much and as hard as I work. This is why I use every time saving website or tool I can find……….that helps give me time back……..working smarter.

No Fish…….And Bad Weather

We are back from our camping trip………the fishing was terrible and the weather was even worse. We still had a great time sitting around the fire and we made some really great food. One of my friends who went camping with us hit some rocks and took out his prop on his motor, he was still able to fish so it was all good. We live in northern Minnesota and you really never know what the weather will hold……sometimes it changes hourly. So we always go no matter what the forecast is because it can always change. I was hoping to have some nice fish pictures to share with everyone, the lake we went to is known for its big walleyes. Well sometimes fishing is like internet marketing, sometimes there biting and sometimes they are not…..oh well there is always tomorrow.

I am getting to everyone’s emails and questions as fast as I can, I should be able to respond to everyone today.

We Are Going Camping….Yea!

Well, it is time for some fun………..me and the family are going camping to a very remote lake, so I will have to take my small boat to maneuver through the rocks (we are going after some big fish). We are leaving tonight and coming back on Sunday night. So I will not have access to a computer so I wont be able to answer any emails until I get back. Have a great weekend and happy surfing!

Hopefully I will have some nice pictures to show from the fish we catch……

I just wanted to take the time to wish all Mothers everywhere a wonderful day! No matter if you celebrate mothers day or not, I still want to recognize every mother, without a Mom a persons life would surely miss out  on all the wonderful things that a mother does to take care of and nurture us as we grow.  There is nothing that can replace the loving caring of a Mother.

Just Messing With The Font And Colors

Just wanted to let you know that if over the next couple days you visit the site and the size of the text or colors keep changing, it is just because I am messing with it (nothing is wrong with your computer) I am trying to get the size of the text and color adjusted to make the site more easy to read. Sometimes the adjustments I make dont take affect right away…..so its kind of hit and miss.

Why Building Your Email Marketing List Is A Necessity And Not An Option………


I can tell you from personal experience that not building an email marketing list is downright foolish! Not only will you struggle to build any kind of real long lasting income, you will have to work ten times as hard as those who build their list first. The response I get from people who are on my list is incredible in comparison to the amount of time I use to spend just finding one sale. My first two years online I created a lousy $200 in sales. Once I started building an email marketing list……….I made more money in a month than I did in my first two years online!

Why?

1. Email marketing is the best way of delivering your message, hands down, its delivered right to your prospects. Think about this, what happens everytime there is a new product launch or affiliate program? Yes, you start getting email after email letting you know about it. Ever wonder why you get so much spam in your inbox? Because they know that email marketing works very well, they do not care if there breaking the law. Now spamming people with unwanted email is wrong, but all I am saying is there is a reason so many people still are out there doing it.

2. It takes an average of 7 times, now make sure your hearing this……it takes on average 7 times of being exposed to an offer for someone to buy or join your affiliate program. How do you give people more information if you don’t have a list? ***Raw traffic converts very poorly, that is why you post links to sales pages and affiliate programs all over the place and no body hardly ever responds! The people who sign up to be on your list want to know more about you and what you are offering them.

3.  Affiliate programs and business offers come and go like the wind online………what happens when you finally have built up a matrix in one of these affiliate programs and you worked 4 hours a day 5 days a week for an entire year just to get 50 people involved, and all of a sudden they close the doors. Some of you may remember the spider web marketing system, its gone or is it? Well its only gone for you and the other members but not the owner, you all helped him build a massive list! I guarantee you he is still sending email to all the members……..he can there all subscribed to his list…..he owns it. Now I am not bashing the owner of the spiderweb marketing system…no he was very smart and built his business the right way. Do you still want to invest your time and energy in something thats not yours? See if you build your email marketing list first and foremost you do not have to worry when the owner shuts down the affiliate program, you can join another and email your friends about it.

You made your business priority number one by building your email marketing list, so no worry, you have built a relationship with those on your list, they know and trust you and will want to know what else they can do to make money online or will want to find out about the newest marketing tools you are using to increase your profits.



4. Believe it or not people actually want to be on someones email marketing list, its easier, they dont have to go searching all over the internet to find what they are looking for. I am on many email list, I love getting new email from sources I trust and subjects I want more information on. I love learning new stuff and being the first to find out about new marketing tools. Besides most people want help in building their online business dont they? What ever niche you are in people like to be better educated, I do not always remember to see if a website has been updated or added some new information, it is a lot easier to subscribe to their list and get an email when they have something new for me.

5. You will never get wealthy online with one product or affiliate program, products get outdated, affiliate programs die off or better scripts come out, businesses fade in the wind. Have you ever heard the saying “Dont Keep All Your Eggs In One Basket, They Might All Break”,  so what is the one way you can create additional income streams online without creating a ton more work or expense? Email Marketing is the only way, you have all ready built up a list of subscribers, all you need to do now is send out an email, simple is it not?

See here is the question you should really be asking yourself:

How do I make the most amount of money,  in the least amount of time, with the least amount of effort, with the least amount of investment?

Now I am not saying building your list will happen over night or there wont be expenses to building it, but I truly know this is the best answer and the path with the least amount of wasted time and money. Because if you dont build your email marketing list you will be spinning your wheels over and over again getting very little results if any! I know, I did it my first two years online…………those two years were not good!

So I really hope I have accomplished one thing by writing this post, that either I have convinced you that you need to start building your email marketing list or for those of you who have all ready started,  I hope that I have reinforced why building your email list should always be your first priority. I truly know and can relate to those of you who are struggling to make a living online, I was once like you and nothing ever changed until I started building my list. Email marketing is your business, no body can take it away from you and it really is the only push button profit system there is.

How you go about building your email list is your choice, the easiest thing I ever did was plugged into a complete system that guided me and taught me through the entire process….step by step. Happy Easter For those who celebrate it

Well, just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter For those who celebrate it, and to the rest who dont have a wonderful day! We can all find things to be great full for no matter what beliefs we are part of.

Take some time and spend it with your friends and loved ones, well unless your crazy like me…….I had to get some surfing in today, just a few credits anyway. The rest of the day will be spent with family and way over eating. Maybe I’ll surf just a few more credits tonight…..
But I will spend some time today to reflect on whats important in life, and be thankful for everything I have been blessed with. Remember Some times great things rise from the challenges and struggles we go through.
