My 30 Day Traffic Exchange Challenge…Day 8

Holy cow……………………….This is a lot like work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Especially when you broadcast what you are going to do publicly……………You have to owe up to it, at least that is the way I feel. I really do have a great work ethic, actually, I have a hard time finding to many people who can keep up with my expectations I have for myself. That is why this is called a challenge…….and why I challenged myself to complete it. You know, Sunday is football and normally I do not do anything, I just relax and watch my favorite sport, I better get up earlier………..

My 30 Day Traffic Exchange Challenge…Day 7

Took me a little longer to finish my tasks for the day (I had a lot of other things I had to get done ), but it was well worth it………only 24 more days straight!

This is going to be a short post tonight, I have brain fog, I am still clicking inside my head……….oooohhh I think, cant remember what I was going to write, oh well.

I havnt fallen short of my goals yet…but then again it has only been 7 days.

1. I surfed 13 traffic exchanges for a total of 265 clicks in each.

2. I sent out email ads to 3 safelist today, tomorrow will be my big mailing where I email almost all safelist that I am a member of. I also clicked for more credits……..had to make sure I max out those email mailings tomorrow.

3. And Holy God Yes………STILL working on finding my first person to take on my traffic exchange challenge with me (someone please join me). It can be anyone, does not have to be someone following my exact step by step marketing system, I am just trying to encourage people to develop habits of success, and give there business a great big boost!

4. I have completed my blog posting for the day, I actually made a couple post and created a new page in the steps here. I made all my commitments to myself.

Sorry I did not leave the results last night, got a lot done yesterday, but kinda slow on the results……but remember its the habits that will set you free. I received 4 new subscribers to my email list, added two new paying trafficwave downline and only a couple new traffic exchange members.

So Today I am working overtime (on my business) I am going to hustle my ass off and Kick it up a notch!

My 30 Day Traffic Exchange Challenge…Day 6

I made it another day……….I am hanging in there, overall it was a very good day.

If anyone is interested in knowing the traffic exchanges and safelist I am using,  they are listed on the right hand side of this blog. There are basically three exchanges that I surf everyday no matter what, the rest I rotate through everyday. The three I surf everyday are

Trafficswarm, sweeva, and easyhits4u there are several reasons I make sure and surf these three as part of my 13 exchanges everyday. Ilove hits I surf almost everyday…

There combined membership base is somewhere around 800,000 members……….lots of different people to see your splash or squeeze pages, and trafficswarm is my secret traffic weapon, so much so It has its own category on my blog here, you can read more .

Sweeva is very unique, I encourage you to join if you are not all ready a member and if you are a member and are not actively surfing it everyday………you really need to take the time and get to know how it works. It takes a while to get into the upper levels where you get more credits per view, but well worth it, along the way you earn rewards, credits and experience points. This site is great for branding you and getting seen by an absolute ton of people.

Easyhits4u, well for starters there are over 320,000 members………This is one of the largest manual traffic exchanges online.
I have been a member of EasyHits4U for a few years now, and I always make this traffic exchange one of my priorities to surf everyday. I am also an upgraded member and have been for a long time. Having such a large membership base , Easyhits4u has anywhere from ~1300-1700 members on average surfing simultaneously at any given time. What does this mean for you? Increased exposure, more people to view your ads, more new people joining everyday, you have a much greater chance of someone new viewing your ad, with such a large membership base. I am an upgraded member of all three exchanges, and I also get commissions from all of them.

On to what I did today as part of my challenge.

1. I surfed 15 different traffic exchanges for 215 clicks in each one.

2. I sent email ads out to 3 safelist, and clicked for more credits in each.

3. I am Yes………STILL working on finding my first person to take on my traffic exchange challenge with me (someone please join me). Yet Another successful day, I completed each one of my commitments I challenged myself to again.

1. I surfed 13 different traffic exchanges for over 200 clicks in each, I actually ended up at about 215 clicks in each traffic exchange .

2. I was able to send out emails in 4 safelist today , plus clicked for more credits in each of my safelist. This is a daily thing. I have maxed out my email mailings for the day.

3. I am Yes………still working on finding my first person to take on my traffic exchange challenge with me. It can be anyone, does not have to be someone following my exact step by step system, I am just trying to encourage people to develop habits of success.

I have had added so far today 11 new subscribers to my list and 5 new referrals to programs I am a member of, from people signing up from my email list. Plus 9 new traffic exchange commissions, and have been paid another $82 in upgrades from three other programs. My email list also refers new members to several traffic exchanges everyday, I do not keep track of the total referrals I get for those anymore.

I have also joined and upgraded in Jason Wise’s New Program The 10k Team, I chose strategy #1.  I upgraded as well in all the programs listed in strategy #1, I will be using those advertising programs to build my email marketing list, which in turn will build my 10k team. Another successful day, I completed each one of my commitments I challenged myself to again.

1. I surfed 13 different traffic exchanges for over 200 clicks in each, I actually ended up at about 285 clicks in each traffic exchange . Plus I surfed another 4 traffic exchanges for 100 clicks in each.

2. I sent out emails in my last 9 safelist that I am currently a member of, plus clicked for more credits in each of my safelist. This is a daily thing. I have maxed out my email mailings.

3. I am still working on finding my first person to take on my traffic exchange challenge with me. It can be anyone, does not have to be someone following my exact step by step system, I am just trying to encourage people to develop habits of success.

4. I have completed my daily posting here on my blog, honoring my commitment.

Well my first day was a success………I completed each one of my commitments I challenged myself to.

1. I surfed 13 different traffic exchanges for over 200 clicks in each, I actually ended up at about 255 clicks in each traffic exchange .

2. I sent out emails in 32 of my 41 safelist that I am currently a member of, I can send out to the remaining safelist today.

3. I am still working on finding my first person to take on my traffic exchange challenge with me. It can be anyone, does not have to be someone following my exact step by step system, I am just trying to encourage people to develop habits of success.

4. I have completed my daily posting here on my blog, honoring my commitment.

The answer to this is very obvious……………..it all depends on how bad you want it, because only you can determine the answer.

One of the problems facing new and experienced internet marketers is there are literally hundreds of thousands of affiliate programs, web businesses, get rich quick schemes and so on and so on. It will all really confuse you if you let it………………………………………………..you need to remember some key points in order to cut through all the garbage!

1. You will not get rich overnight, nor tomorrow or next week and definitely not by next month or the month after, it just does not work that way. (if you believe otherwise stick to buying lottery tickets you will have better luck)

2. Ignore the emails that talk about people making 152 thousand dollars last month or the ones where they made 23,000 yesterday, when people send emails like this they are talking about people who have a huge email list……..there is no way online to generate this kind of revenue overnight…….except if you all ready have a massive email list or your some spammer from russia sending out millions of  emails. So do not even visit the website it will just cause you more frustration.

3. Do not believe the hype, no matter what it says on the website, I do not care what they are promising you. There is only one way to generate thousands of dollars online that quickly and that again is by having a email list all ready.

4. Nobody is going to do all the work for you………..you will not get to sit back in an easy chair while some one else or some team makes you a fortune online, forget it. Next month or the month after there wont be a pile of money in your paypal account.

5. Sometimes it will seem like you are working for hours and hours and nothing is happening,  no referrals, no sign ups, no sales. Thats okay, this is the way a real business works, its not all fun and glory, sometime things are fast and furious other times its slow and boring. This is what separates the people who make a couple dollars online and when I say a couple dollars I mean 20 bucks, from the people who make their living online. I love when I get emails from people whining to me, I have worked for the last two months and I have not made any money yet, I am quitting, it just makes me laugh. I laugh not at them but because I do not understand how people really believe that they are going to make a bunch of money in such a short period of time. (especially when they had no experience)

6. Expect a learning curve, if you have no experience in business and do not understand delayed gratification and how a real business works, it will take you longer……………..because you have to learn to earn online. It is no different than going to college to become a mechanic, you can not expect to fix a car if you do not know how, or do not even know what a wrench is?????  If you do not know what an autoresponder is, obviously you wont know how or what to do with it.

7. You absolutely have to learn email marketing no matter what anybody or any website tells you. If you do not, you should just quit and save your self the anguish. My first two years online I made jack squat, and when I finally started to listen I made more in my next month then I did in the prior past two years combined.

8. It is easier and cost way less to follow someone else system then trying to create your own, you need a mentor and a system to learn the right process of how money is really made online first.

9. Stick to a marketing system until you master it, I dont mean to try it for a while and see if it works. I mean get your hands dirty and learn it one part at a time until you master it……….only then will money come more easy( I do not care if it takes you six months). I see way to many people dive in for a month or two only to give up and quit before they ever really know what the hell they are doing. I used traffic exchanges since day one online, remember I told you I made crap my first two years……….well I did not give up on them, I knew there was a reason there is hundreds of  them online. Because they work when you start listening and actually learn what it takes to make them work for you. All marketing is this same way, safelist, text ads, banner ads, you name it there are ways to master all of them and get extraordinary results!! (but you will never know if you give up)

10. Sell the shovels – Do Not Dig For Gold:   Niche marketing is a lot more difficult to learn, there are literally hundreds of thousands of websites all competing to sell the same stuff, and thousands more start up everyday trying to sell more of the the same stuff. But what is the one thing all websites need and need badly???????????????????????????????????????? I have a hint…………it is the same thing you need, Traffic!!

I really want to help people understand and learn what it takes to make a living online, to many people come online in hopes of adding on to their income and changing their life only to be seriously fooled into believing it will happen overnight or in a few months. Now for some it is possible, their background, desire, education, current finances enable them to experience success online relatively quickly. I was not one of those fortunate individuals and I had a huge learning curve of a little over two years (thick headedness, I thought my way was better). All I can say is I am certainly glad today I was not easily swayed in to giving up. Topsurfer is a very good traffic exchange, but the rate at which your credits get used up (how fast your splash pages get seen) can be very slow at times. I am going to explain how I use Topsurfer and how to effectively use your credits.

First off, If you want to effectively advertise in any traffic exchange or safelist as most of you know, you must be advertising a splash or squeeze page that leads to or has an opt-in form on it, otherwise you are just wasting your time. Building your email marketing list is the single most important thing you can do. If you do not know how to set any of that up, just follow the steps laid out on the right hand side of this blog. Otherwise the splash and squeeze pages I am using are part of the TE Profits marketing system and are provided free as being a member of that program. I also create my own squeeze pages, as I am a pro member of instantsplash.

Now Topsurfer lets you list quite a few urls (links to your splash or squeeze pages) so the first step to getting your credits used up faster and more effectively is:

1. List at least 20 urls in your Topsurfer back office, you can repeat them, I use my favorite ten squeeze pages and list each one twice.

2. Topsurfer has a newsletter, take advantage of this, I have had a great response to this form of advertising. It works by you exchanging your credits for a newsletter ad, it cost 2000 hit credits per newsletter ad. You will find the link to do this located on the The Member’s Statistic Area page at the very bottom.

3. You can also assign credits to link impressions, this is located in the main members menu under exchange your hits. This also can be very effective.

4. Topsurfer rewards you for being an active surfer, there is a little box located in the surf bar that will either say active or priority, all you have to do to keep your account as a priority is surf at least 50 sites every seven days.(hence your site will rotate faster)

Topsurfer can be a very effective traffic exchange for getting you more subscribers faster, all you need to do is remember to take advantage of all the services they offer, there are a few more ways to use up your topsurfer traffic exchange credits, but the four services above have yielded the best results, I actually get new subscribers every time I send out a newsletter ad.
