We as people in general tend to like to procrastinate………we can always do it tomorrow, and when we join new programs online we tend to skip over the learning process, most have no idea the amount of training some programs provide because they have never taken the time to actually learn what they are really involved in.

I have learned this from personal experience, and by referring hundreds of people to different programs, and then watching how they try to promote the program themselves. Some people do not even fill in the downline builders after they join them, because they do not bother to read and understand what the site can do for them. Most are in such a hurry to start making money that they skip over the most critical parts. I know I did this myself my first two years online, I just thought it was all about plastering links all over the place and the money would come flowing in……well , it didnt. I had to back track at that point, and I realized after going through a bunch of training, that I meant to go through 2 years ago, that I was doing everything completely wrong! Actually nothing I did those first two years brought me one lick closer to any of my goals.

I had to start from scratch, but I learned from my mistakes, and started learning everything about online marketing I could. Every program I joined I went through every link, video, blog postings…..EVERYTHING! This is how I became the top referrer to TE Profits, I went through the entire back office every word of it, and every time Scott Douglas posted anything on his buddy blog, I read it! (By the way he just added a bunch of new training)

If you are a student first, you will become the teacher and a master of what you do.

1. Make it a habit to learn as much as you can about any program you join, go through all the training they have (if they have none get out of there!)

2. Make it a habit to learn some new skill everyday, whether its learning how to make a hyper link, build your own banner, making your first autoresponder series or creating your first website.  Just do something that is valuable that will bring you closer to your goals. These skills you need to learn anyway, they are fundamentals that are a must!

3. Do not let fear stop you in your tracks, do not procrastinate because you dont know how to do something yet. Example: If your afraid to build your own website or blog…….this is something you should tackle immediately. You will feel really good about yourself for learning your new skills, and you will have a new confidence about building your business when you take on your fears. You will no longer just feel like an affiliate for someone else, you will feel like a business owner and realize you can do anything you set your mind to.

Learning, in the beginning, in the middle and yes in the end. Learning a new skill everyday will help you reach your goals.

You know the saying, you can give a person a fish and they will eat for a day, or you can teach a person to fish and they will eat for a lifetime. Sometimes having everything done for us, is not in our best interest. Actually it never really is.

Internet marketing has changed drastically over the last two years alone, no longer are the days of just throwing some traffic at the same old things works, you have to be creative, and learn to develop YOU.

The Next 30 Days….Day 25

Wow, that is a funny title for a blog post, but what it stands for always makes a whole ton of sense. “See it big, but keep it super simple” I know a lot of you have heard this said before, this is something I try to always remember to keep me on the right track. If we are always making things to complicated, it can tend to weigh us down and we lose focus of the whole picture. I am talking about traffic building here, the absolute one
essential ingredient to any and all successful online businesses. Some forms of traffic building online can be extremely complicated and cost a ton of money to figure out, this is why I like traffic exchanges and safelist so much. They are extremely easy to use and set up, and creating ongoing daily traffic from them is a piece of cake. You get visitors to your offers by simply earning credits by clicking for them or purchasing credits, or upgrades. This is one of the reasons, I set up my blog here the way I have, in steps and days, for the purpose of teaching others and keeping it simple but yet still paint the big picture. Information overload is no fun, and it tends to leave a person kinda frozen, because they become confused and can not decipher what they should be doing. Another reason I came up with the 30 day challenge, not only to keep myself  focused but to also help those who have lost sight of what it is they need to be doing day in and day out to have a successful business online, building traffic.

Dont you just love those words, its even more fabulous when you get 10 to 15 emails like that a day, and just think, that is not even the payments from your main business, those are just the payments from the traffic exchanges you use, yes you get paid to get your own traffic, Right? There is good advertising and bad advertising, this is why I love traffic exchanges and safelist so much! They offer you guaranteed advertising totally free of charge if you want, all you need is a little elbow grease. I like getting free advertising, but I am smart enough to leverage my time as well by buying advertising from traffic exchanges and safelist by means of upgrading, buying text ads, banner ads, solo ads, etc.When you upgrade in these traffic resources, not only does it increase the value of every click, it increases your commission rate and the amount of advertising you receive each month. If you are actively building up your referral base in these exchanges and are upgraded, you can build up quite a nice tidy sum of income for yourself. Imagine getting paid $100 dollars a month from twenty traffic exchanges or safelist, not a bad addition to your other online sources of income, is it?

What is the one thing every online marketer, website owner Needs??  Traffic! This is why it is so important to turn your traffic business into part of your income business.  How do you do this? By using your advertising to build a list of leads, and letting your email marketing list build your traffic business. By letting people know who are on your list, what tools, traffic resources you are using to build your own business….all your doing is sharing information, nothing else, I do not send product offers to my list, or inundate  them with worthless business opportunities. All advertising resources are not created equal, not all of them have active, or good owners. The very best traffic exchanges and safelist, have very active owners that are constantly striving to improve their exchange and bring in new members, this keeps the exchange fresh, alive and full of new opportunity seekers, which improves the quality of the advertising and the results that you will get. If I see an owner of a traffic exchange or safelist actively advertising all over the internet, I run to go join!

Well there are three traffic resources that I recently ran to!! God created the earth in 6 days and took a day off on the seventh, since the big man did it, well I am going to take that as a healthy thing to do. So tomorrow I will not be online at all, I will be spending  time with my family and friends, and will be giving thanks for all that I am great full for in my life. For those of you who celebrate the holiday, I wish you a warm , and happy ThanksGiving! Yes, we are ready and revived and it is time to get this party started!

For those of you just joining us, my original 30 day traffic exchange challenge is posted here, and no it hasnt ended, it is just time to kick it up a notch and really heat things up! As I wrote about yesterday, I needed to revise my daily goals and get some new inspiration. I hadnt adjusted my goals after the first thirty days, I just kept going as is until day 43, I was starting to feel a little uninspired and realized it was time to put some new goals out there that were more of a stretch to hit everyday. You can read yesterdays post here. With the holiday season fast approaching us, I may mess up a little more or fall short, it is a lot harder to get things done when your out visiting relatives or eating Thanksgiving dinner…….or not home for three days. I am going to try to stay completely on track, despite the obstacles. I hope you decide to join us on this journey…….Together we can accomplish great things!

Here is the thing about about setting up my new goals, I had to put them out there a little bit of a stretch, so in doing so, it will take not only my effort, but some more investments, buying traffic on my part to hit these new goals. I am already upgraded in many traffic exchanges and safelist, so I will be buying more traffic credits as well. I am going to need to keep my traffic between 7,500 to 10,000 hits a day to my splash pages, in order to hit these new goals. I will be surfing a lot…….

Without any further ado here are my new goals for the next 30 days.

1.  Add at least 15 new subscribers to my email list everyday.

2. Add 2 new traffichoopla members everyday for 30 days.

3.  Add 2 new TE Profits members everyday for 30 days.

4.  Add 2 new 10K Team members everyday for 30 days.

5. Find 5 more people to take on the first 30 days of my traffic exchange challenge with me. This second 30 days is more advanced goals, not for the faint at heart.

6. Post to this blog daily what I have done so as to keep myself accountable, I will post even if I do not make my goal each day. No matter how short I fall.

Everything, besides my blog posting really hinges on that first goal, adding 15 new subscribers to my email list everyday, this is where new partners get exposed to the advertising and income programs I use to build my own business. This is also the only way to successfully build more than one program without diluting your effort, email marketing.

My 30 Day Traffic Exchange Challenge…Day 35

And Yes The the 10k team paid me today, well actually Jason Wise the owner paid me. So if you have not joined yet, go check it out now. Other than that I will get straight to my task I completed for the day, I have not been feeling well the last two days, time to get some rest.

1. I surfed 13 traffic exchanges for 201 clicks in each.

2. I sent out email ads in 2 safelist today, I fell short on this goal today, I did not click for more credits, hopefully tomorrow I will feel a little better and make up for it.
