My 30 Day Traffic Exchange Challenge…Day 21

Determination- To get the job done and let nothing stand in your way.

This is what we must do to be successful online, have a resilience to challenges.

Just thought I would share these with you first, and then get to the what got accomplished today, hope you liked…Today was a very good day, got a lot accomplished, had some very good results. Only 9 more days left to the end of our challenge, one of my goals is to find 5 other people to take on this challenge with me, I still have three left to find or find us. I am positive they will join us soon, remember it dosnt matter when you start the challenge, just as long as you start and finish it………your only failure will be in not starting or finishing the challenge. Remember the work you do today may not show up in results until tomorrow. You are building, learning and setting in motion successful habits by taking part in this challenge, the only one you are competing against is yourself.

What did I get accomplished today?

1. I surfed 14 traffic exchanges for a total of 209 clicks in each, and surfed a few others for random credits.

2. I sent out email ads in 3 safelist today, and clicked for a TON of credits. My focus was mostly on these 3, and I did a blog post highlighting exactly what I did. click here to read it now.

Building your email list first and foremost gives you the ability to promote multiple programs with out doing any more work. If you are not building your list, every time you want to promote some program that you are in, you have to go out there and physically do the work each time. So the time your spending promoting xyz, you wont be promoting abc because you can not promote both at the same time…….well you can try, but your effort will be split in half. I had great success with the OBA and TEP from day one, because when I found them everything I did in the past prepared me for the descision I made, and I sold out. This is a problem for the majority online, they do not sell out to something, they try to build several different businesses and all there effort isnt focused on one purpose.  Splitting your effort up will only delay you becoming successful. How can a person teach something they are not totally committed to themselves?

All I do, is follow the exact same steps that are on my blog, everyone of them everyday, and direct all the traffic they create to signing up to my email list.  This is why I have had such good success. Anything I have ever created online has a sign up form somewhere on it or a link to it. Building your email list is the only way to stay in constant communication with your prospects and business partners, look at it this way.

You go out and spend 10 hours advertising your business or affiliate programs main page with no email form on it, that you own. You sign up 5 new referrals or 5 new sales, now you can never contact them again, because you had no opt-in list. So to get 5 more new sales or referrals you have to go out and do the same 10 hours work again. You still help build a list, it just wasnt yours, this is why people love creating affiliate programs, they get others to build their list for them.

Now ,I put opt-in forms on everything and use splash pages with opt-in forms on them, I spend the same 10 hours advertising my pages that you did and get 10 subscribers, because they opted in because they wanted to know more before they buy or joined, I end up getting 5 sales or referrals out of the deal, plus I can promote other programs or products to those ten people because I gave them an option to get to know more first and you didnt. I built my list first, not someone elses. I bring this up to help you understand and to see why I get referrals and sales everyday, the work I did 6 months ago might be giving me results today because I send out emails through an autoresponder 365 days a year. I am never out of people to promote to…………because I built my list, and I teach what I do.

Well enough on that, and on to the results that showed up in my inboxes today. I signed up 9 subscribers to my email list, 3 new TE Profits members, had 1 partner upgrade, 1 new instant splash referral, 1 new adsandcash member, 2 new traffichoopla members, and lots of traffic exchange and safelist referrals. And someone in my downline is just pounding in the indirect referrals into several programs, congratulations to you, I get the notifications from some of the programs but have not looked who is doing it yet.

Oops……I did it again! This was suppose to be posted last night, it is a good thing I visit my own blog, otherwise I might have totally missed it until tonight. Yesterday I did meet all my goals except of course making this blog posting, sorry.I will just keep moving forward instead of dwelling on what I can not change, yesterday is cement. Here is what I did yesterday…

The results were very good again, 6 new subscribers to my email list, Got Paid from  TE Profits (always on time), 2 new 10k Team members, several new traffic exchange referrals, 2 new traffichoopla sign ups, 1 new instantsplash referral, 2 new OBA partners, few new safelist members, and various referrals to other programs that I do not directly promote that find there way via downline builders. This is why I focus on building my list, I do not have to spend time trying to promote several programs at once.

All I do, is follow the exact same steps that are on the right hand side of my blog, everyone of them everyday, and direct all the traffic they create to signing up to my email list through TEP , this is why I have had such good success. Anything I have ever created online has a sign up form somewhere on it or a link to it. I get commissions sometimes, I have to research to find out where the money is coming from, because I can not remember signing up to the program, because I filled out all the downline builders associated with tep.

I wanted to let you know about a new site I joined a few weeks ago, that really is a great tool for building your business. It is called instantsplash, I finally got around to building a few splash pages with it yesterday.

Instantsplash is really simple to use and create some great looking splash pages, you can even add video with just copy and paste. Here are some of the examples of the splash pages I have made so far:

I have started using them in some traffic exchanges so far, so I will keep you posted on the results. I am using them to promote our TEP   squeeze pages that we are using with are system (Real Traffic Exchange Profits) here to build our email marketing list.

Now if you upgrade in instantsplash you can actually add your autorsponder code for TEP,  You would find that code in your trafficwave back office under the autoresponder you have set up for TE Profits.

This is also the first time I have added my own video to one of my splash pages, it is really simple to do. I used a small video recorder I have and then just uploaded it to youtube. You then take the embed code for your video from youtube and copy and paste it in the spot titled (video embed code) in instant splash. Here is the video I made:

The important thing when creating your own splash or squeeze pages, is to be original, creative and make sure to brand yourself. You can see by clicking on my example splash pages above how I am making sure to brand myself and my blog real traffic exchange profits. The thing I love about instant splash is it’s so simple to use and set up………and it is a great downline builder  for some of the programs we are using here.

**One last little helpful tip, you want your video if you decide to create one to automatically start playing when your page opens up in the traffic exchange, it is another way to grab the surfers attention. Here is how you get your youtube video in your splash or squeeze page to automatically play.

Why it is so important to upgrade and invest money in your business……….

Most people who dont have a business background tend to look at upgrading or business program fees as expenses, there use to paying bills for there home or lifestyle and buying things that depreciate in value (except hopefully their home) so it ads stress and its something  they have to pay for every month, otherwise the items they are paying for get taken away or shut off, etc. Most of us have never really learned to build our financial well being first, and learn how to make money work for us, instead we work for money at a (9 to 5 job) because we went and spent money on our lifestyle first. So we are constantly in a rat race trying to keep up,and now we need instant income to pay for our expenses.

There are basically only three types of income, and usually only one of them provides instant income, the other two require understanding delayed gratification:

1..Earned income
You trade your time for money (Your job)
Instant income

2.Portfolio income
Bonds ,stocks, mutual funds (investments)
delayed gratification

3.Residual Or Passive Income (Your Business)
Businesses, real estate, insurance
delayed gratification

A wealthy business friend of mine always use to tell me “The key to becoming wealthy is the ability to convert earned income into passive / or portfolio income” He also taught me that trading your time for money (Earned income) was very limited because you could only ever earn x amount of $ based on time, so you are limited to the amount of time you can work in a week (and there is only one of you) through investing in number 2 and 3 you multiply your time and money (you make money work for you).

Now building passive or residual income takes learning how to make money work for you, switching your mind set from, oh my God another expense to Wow that investment in upgrading in that traffic exchange can really save me time and increase my traffic ten fold!  Again we tend to ask the wrong questions “How much is this going to cost me” instead of “How much is this going to make me?” it still surprises me even in a business with so little investment how bad some people question it, I mean none of us go to Mcdonalds and are like hey, you mean to tell me that burger cost 4.95, wow I better not buy that, its going to hurt the budget this week, no we shell it out like it means nothing. That burger isnt giving us anything back, except heartburn, extra calories and a expense that is not even necessary, but we still do not even question it.

An expense is something that takes away
A investment is something that gives back

So why do we question business investments so little as $5 bucks a month, because we are not getting a burger back, something tangible immediately, we were not taught to invest in our financial well being first, we were taught how to create expenses for an instant lifestyle? I know I was, but I ventured off into business when I was very young and got one of the best educations I could have ever earned and it wasnt through any college. It was by starting a small business and learning that investments were necessary to expand and grow any business. So I stopped asking the question “How much is this going to cost me” and started asking myself………”What areas of my business should I invest in to make it grow stronger, faster and save me the most amount of work” I learned to think like a business owner………..I had to invest in my business if I wanted it to grow. Learning to invest in your business you realize most of the time the results are not instant its about delayed gratification.

So how do we make are internet businesses grow stronger, faster and save us time getting us to where we want to be? By investing our money in marketing or products that will leverage our time and increase our efforts and profits (remember there is only one of you) click, click, click. Buying a thousand credits, or upgrading in a traffic exchange versus clicking for them? Which takes longer, hence what one will give you results faster? Which will save you time? Now how do you multiply your efforts even more, by doing both! See now it is not just dependent on your effort, your money is working for you, so you can earn more $ faster and with less effort because your money is doing part of the work, now you will see profits and growth faster, You have multiplied your self! I hate to see people struggle with anything, but most of the time we ourselves make things harder than they really are. I was fortunate through past experience to have the right mental attitude when I started with the OBA and TEP, I was getting subscribers to my lists and sales pretty much from day one, one of the things I did different than most of the people I see struggling, was invest in my business right from the get go. Not only did I upgrade in programs that would make it grow faster, I matched my investments with my effort……….I wanted my business to grow fast. I mean come on…. $9.95 a month for an upgrade in a traffic exchange, man I spent more money on pop in a week before………you want to make a lot of money right?  (I dont drink pop anymore its bad for you) I have never understood how people come online and think that they are going to make thousands and thousands of dollars a month and not have to invest any money??*%#??

“If you believe in something, its not hard to act on a little faith”

Now one of the real beauties of this business……….the ingenious of it all, is it really can work almost completely on autopilot……..the income becomes passive………you will start to understand this, the more you learn and as your business starts to grow a little on its own. You can pretty much run this business on investment alone, your money will do 95% of the work and grow MONTH AFTER MONTH. Infact people who come into this business with the right attitude and there finances in order could pretty much set it up and almost walk away, and it would grow! (they would have to do a few administrative duties, send a few emails once in a while, you know the hard stuff)
Once you really, truly understand this incredible system that Dave Gray and Scott Douglas have put together, it will blow you away of how simple it really is and investing in your business will be something you are eager to do!!

Hear is another question I ask my self all the time when it comes to making investment decisions, this question I ask myself is why I joined this business when it was emailed to me. This business fit the bill, I could see that anyone could eventually make it work even on a shoe string budget.

“How Do I make the most amount of money in the least amount of time with the least amount of effort with the least amount of investment?”

I really want to help people understand , when opportunity presents itself take advantage of it, nothing is guaranteed in life, but you will never gain anything if you dont try.Dont let fear stop you from pursuing the life you have always wanted. Realize Success (Life) is not a destination but the journey itself, you will learn you will grow you will cry but in the end you will be a better person for it and will have helped others a long the way….

It is really quite weird to still find people that think that Safelist and Traffic Exchanges Don’t Work. So yesterday morning I had to prove to myself once again, like I do everyday that not only do they work, they work very well!

Now if I was sending email through a different safelist I would replace Listjoe with the name of the one I was using. One other thing you will notice is I put the link in my ad twice because it increases the number of clicks you will get. There is also another place you put your link in when sending in a safelist, that is so members can get credit for clicking on your link, but I like to ad mine twice in my ads as well.

Yesterday morning I sent my ad through Listjoe and checked my stats today for my click thru and subscribers received, I am a member of about 30 safelist I didn’t send to them all yesterday because I wanted to show you the simplicity and effectiveness by only giving the results from one.

Here are the results,  I sent my ad to 803 people in Listjoe, I had 32 clicks and 3 new subscribers to my list. Now you may be thinking well that’s not very good, I beg to differ, while three subscribers might not seem like alot,  that was from only one mailing, as a free member you can send out your ad every 7 days (365 days a year divided by 7 days =52) Now if you get 3 subscribers every time, that is 156 new subscribers to your list every year from just that one safelist, that’s doing nothing else. Through the system we use here on this site every subscriber is = to about $3 a month in income to you over time, so now you just gave yourself a $468 raise this year by just taking advantage of  just one safelist as a free member, think if you were an upgraded member of Listjoe?

Now that’s the real power of  list building. You take all these advertising streams we use here and feed your list. That list grows and so does your income.  Another reason I only showed the example of one safelist, because for some that is all they can handle, yes I can email to 30 safelist a month, plus surf 60 traffic exchanges,  but I have been doing this a while and have learned how to organize everything I do. Otherwise it can get overwhelming  when your first starting out. It is okay to start with one and learn what you are doing and move on from there.

The first post about trafficswarm was getting a bit long so decided to make a second post regarding the credits and text ads.

How To Use  Your Credits And Why

If you want to see a steady stream (or a flood) of traffic using trafficswarm, you have
to build your credits up to a certain threshold. Once it hits that
level (usually between 10,000 to 12,000) credits,  the traffic flows
as fast as you can earn credits!  So try putting your sites on hold until you reach 10,000 credits or so and then release them and WATCH what happens to your subscriber sign ups and your book sales!

One of our OBA/TEP partners started seeing daily sales of the $5 book/OBA sign up
and when he was asked how he did it,  the response was that nearly half of his
traffic was coming from Traffic Swarm!

The rate of traffic delivery depends on the balance of accumulated credits in your TrafficSwarm account. A higher balance means more traffic, or faster delivery.  The best kept secret about this is that you can build up a large credit balance as a free member of  TrafficSwarm and get almost the same benefit a paid pro member gets!  As a pro member you get a lot more credits, plus monthly bonus credits. But whether you are a free member or paid member of TrafficSwarm, you need to surf on a daily basis to see steady traffic and results from your splash pages.

Surfing TrafficSwarm consistently on a daily basis will generate more traffic in an hour of surfing than any other exchange I use!  TrafficSwarm surfers are one of the most responsive groups of surfers on the internet, dosn’t hurt that there is over 500,000 members and they not only show your site on the exchange itself but also across the entire internet through link boxes and their own search engine.

Try different ones, if your a free member you can have up to ten different ads rotating, pro members get unlimited. Make sure you use all ten text ads. I hope this gives you a good idea of how powerful trafficswarm can be and how to get it set up properly.

Finally, something I forgot to mention. You need to regularly update,
alter, or rotate your ads running on TrafficSwarm. You will get surfers to
click on your link multiple times if you keep presenting a different text
ad coupled with the same capture page.

When they see a text ad they’ve already clicked on before, they
will not click on it again. Change the ad for more clicks. Keep using
the same capture page and the repetition will increase the opt ins.

Is the $30 upgrade in TrafficSwarm worth it? Definately, I am a upgraded member.

But for anyone on a tight budget, I recommend one of the lower cost upgrades
in the other top traffic exchanges that are listed in the TEP back office. But for anyone willing to learn how to write effective text ads, anyone who has at least leased the first AdSpace
