How Do I Get Better Results With Traffic Exchanges?

I know a lot of you visiting this blog are all ready using the same system as me, so some of what I am going to cover today you may know, but for those of you landing on this blog for the first time, I am going to go over how I personally use traffic exchanges and what specific techniques I use to get results and profit. All the steps that we use are listed on the right hand side of this blog, today I am going to talk about my surf patterns a little bit more and what I try to accomplish each day, plus review some basics.

What are you advertising in your traffic exchanges?

1. You need to use a splash or squeeze page to get any results period, if you are still advertising your affiliate link or main website link and not working to build an email marketing list, you are wasting your time! People who are surfing traffic exchanges are not looking to buy, they need something to catch there eye that will give a solution to there problems (lack of traffic and lack of sales) You get them more information by them subscribing to your TE Profits report.

Some of you may be saying “I am using splash and squeeze pages but I still am only getting dismal results”

How much are you really surfing?

One of the things I have noticed having built up quite a large downline in many traffic exchanges online, is there is only a small percentage that surf very often. In a lot of traffic exchanges you are able to view your downline’s surfing record, by looking at this record I can see who is getting results and who isn’t by how much they are actually surfing.

2. You need to surf consistently on a regular basis, I get very good results because I work hard…….I surf at least 20 to 30 different traffic exchanges a day almost 7 days a week, at least 100 credits per exchange a day. Some people will email me and say they are working very hard and not getting any subscribers to their list.  All I need to do is go to the traffic exchanges and look how much they are surfing and most of the time its the people who have not even activated their traffic exchange account all the way yet, which is usually about only 25 clicks. Most traffic exchanges you have a small number of clicks you must surf before your account is fully active (meaning your site can receive visitors)

How many traffic exchanges are you surfing each week?

There is a reason I have listed 40 traffic exchanges in step number one, you need the diversity of many traffic exchanges to reach a much broader range of people. People start to really get hooked on certain exchanges and they tend to just keep surfing the same ones over and over. I dont want a few people who surf like crazy to eat up all my credits looking at my site over and over on one or two days, I like to make sure I spread my credits out so a more variety of people see my splash pages everyday.

3. You need to surf many different traffic exchanges to make sure you are not just surfing and showing the same people over and over your squeeze pages. How do I accomplish this, I start off surfing 12 different exchanges when I reach 100 credits in each, I change them until I have 12 more lined up and this way I keep rotating through all of the traffic exchanges I am a member of. Some of the traffic exchanges have a requirement of a minimum number of pages you must surf in a month to keep your account fully active (again receiving traffic).  You want to make sure you are exposing your splash and squeeze pages to as many new people as possible. I surf over 65 different traffic exchanges every week.

***There is one (exception) one traffic exchange that I absolutely surf always, my browser is always opening up TrafficSwarm I have a category devoted to learning how to use it here Not because it is my favorite, it is because there are over 500,000 members and it provides better than average results–!

I keep my sites on 100 % auto assign for credits and save up all my bonus credits or referrals credits and assign them on  days I know I am going to be busy or gone. This way my pages are being seen 7 days a week. I do the same with my credits for being a upgraded member, I assign them on days I cant surf as much, or on a weekend I know I am going to be gone.

Are you keeping your splash and squeeze pages fresh?

4. Rotate your splash and squeeze pages to keep them fresh, I use a lot of squeeze pages . You can also join a site like instantsplash.com and create some of your own, very easy to do.

Are You Tracking Your Efforts?

Track your marketing, all professional marketers know in order to get better results they must find out what is working and what is not.

Anybody who is serious about building a successful business online, knows you are not going to make thousands of dollars a month with out any investments ~There is no such program online, I do not care what you have seen or heard~Dosn”t exist.  I did a post a couple days ago that goes more in depth here

You need to understand that you have two businesses – your traffic-business and your money-business. You’d probably never thought of it like that before, had you? Once you make that realization, you start to concentrate on your traffic-business because get that right and your money-business will just work! This is why building your list is the single most important thing you can do.

With traffic exchanges there are many benefits to upgrading

1. More traffic, less work- Bonus credits every month for being  upgraded

2. Random referrals, yes they will help you build your traffic business

3. Larger commissions -it dosnt take long to be getting paid more from a traffic exchange then you are paying them, if your are actively building your business

4. Larger residual traffic from your downline’s surfing- you also get paid in traffic

5. More credits per click- and shorter timer

6. You can email your downline

7. More banner and text ads

You are leveraging your time and getting money to do some of the work

Why it is so important to upgrade and invest money in your business……….

Most people who dont have a business background tend to look at upgrading or business program fees as expenses, there use to paying bills for there home or lifestyle and buying things that depreciate in value (except hopefully their home) so it ads stress and its something  they have to pay for every month, otherwise the items they are paying for get taken away or shut off, etc. Most of us have never really learned to build our financial well being first, and learn how to make money work for us, instead we work for money at a (9 to 5 job) because we went and spent money on our lifestyle first. So we are constantly in a rat race trying to keep up,and now we need instant income to pay for our expenses.

There are basically only three types of income, and usually only one of them provides instant income, the other two require understanding delayed gratification:

1..Earned income
You trade your time for money (Your job)
Instant income

2.Portfolio income
Bonds ,stocks, mutual funds (investments)
delayed gratification

3.Residual Or Passive Income (Your Business)
Businesses, real estate, insurance
delayed gratification

A wealthy business friend of mine always use to tell me “The key to becoming wealthy is the ability to convert earned income into passive / or portfolio income” He also taught me that trading your time for money (Earned income) was very limited because you could only ever earn x amount of $ based on time, so you are limited to the amount of time you can work in a week (and there is only one of you) through investing in number 2 and 3 you multiply your time and money (you make money work for you).

Now building passive or residual income takes learning how to make money work for you, switching your mind set from, oh my God another expense to Wow that investment in upgrading in that traffic exchange can really save me time and increase my traffic ten fold!  Again we tend to ask the wrong questions “How much is this going to cost me” instead of “How much is this going to make me?” it still surprises me even in a business with so little investment how bad some people question it, I mean none of us go to Mcdonalds and are like hey, you mean to tell me that burger cost 4.95, wow I better not buy that, its going to hurt the budget this week, no we shell it out like it means nothing. That burger isnt giving us anything back, except heartburn, extra calories and a expense that is not even necessary, but we still do not even question it.

An expense is something that takes away
A investment is something that gives back

So why do we question business investments so little as $5 bucks a month, because we are not getting a burger back, something tangible immediately, we were not taught to invest in our financial well being first, we were taught how to create expenses for an instant lifestyle? I know I was, but I ventured off into business when I was very young and got one of the best educations I could have ever earned and it wasnt through any college. It was by starting a small business and learning that investments were necessary to expand and grow any business. So I stopped asking the question “How much is this going to cost me” and started asking myself………”What areas of my business should I invest in to make it grow stronger, faster and save me the most amount of work” I learned to think like a business owner………..I had to invest in my business if I wanted it to grow. Learning to invest in your business you realize most of the time the results are not instant its about delayed gratification.

So how do we make are internet businesses grow stronger, faster and save us time getting us to where we want to be? By investing our money in marketing or products that will leverage our time and increase our efforts and profits (remember there is only one of you) click, click, click. Buying a thousand credits, or upgrading in a traffic exchange versus clicking for them? Which takes longer, hence what one will give you results faster? Which will save you time? Now how do you multiply your efforts even more, by doing both! See now it is not just dependent on your effort, your money is working for you, so you can earn more $ faster and with less effort because your money is doing part of the work, now you will see profits and growth faster, You have multiplied your self! I hate to see people struggle with anything, but most of the time we ourselves make things harder than they really are. I was fortunate through past experience to have the right mental attitude when I started with the OBA and TEP, I was getting subscribers to my lists and sales pretty much from day one, one of the things I did different than most of the people I see struggling, was invest in my business right from the get go. Not only did I upgrade in programs that would make it grow faster, I matched my investments with my effort……….I wanted my business to grow fast. I mean come on…. $9.95 a month for an upgrade in a traffic exchange, man I spent more money on pop in a week before………you want to make a lot of money right?  (I dont drink pop anymore its bad for you) I have never understood how people come online and think that they are going to make thousands and thousands of dollars a month and not have to invest any money??*%#??

“If you believe in something, its not hard to act on a little faith”

Now one of the real beauties of this business……….the ingenious of it all, is it really can work almost completely on autopilot……..the income becomes passive………you will start to understand this, the more you learn and as your business starts to grow a little on its own. You can pretty much run this business on investment alone, your money will do 95% of the work and grow MONTH AFTER MONTH. Infact people who come into this business with the right attitude and there finances in order could pretty much set it up and almost walk away, and it would grow! (they would have to do a few administrative duties, send a few emails once in a while, you know the hard stuff)
Once you really, truly understand this incredible system that Dave Gray and Scott Douglas have put together, it will blow you away of how simple it really is and investing in your business will be something you are eager to do!!

Hear is another question I ask my self all the time when it comes to making investment decisions, this question I ask myself is why I joined this business when it was emailed to me. This business fit the bill, I could see that anyone could eventually make it work even on a shoe string budget.

“How Do I make the most amount of money in the least amount of time with the least amount of effort with the least amount of investment?”

I really want to help people understand , when opportunity presents itself take advantage of it, nothing is guaranteed in life, but you will never gain anything if you dont try.Dont let fear stop you from pursuing the life you have always wanted. Why Building Your Email Marketing List Is A Necessity And Not An Option………

I can tell you from personal experience that not building an email marketing list is downright foolish! Not only will you struggle to build any kind of real long lasting income, you will have to work ten times as hard as those who build their list first. The response I get from people who are on my list is incredible in comparison to the amount of time I use to spend just finding one sale. My first two years online I created a lousy $200 in sales. Once I started building an email marketing list……….I made more money in a month than I did in my first two years online!

Why?

1. Email marketing is the best way of delivering your message, hands down, its delivered right to your prospects. Think about this, what happens everytime there is a new product launch or affiliate program? Yes, you start getting email after email letting you know about it. Ever wonder why you get so much spam in your inbox? Because they know that email marketing works very well, they do not care if there breaking the law. Now spamming people with unwanted email is wrong, but all I am saying is there is a reason so many people still are out there doing it.

2. It takes an average of 7 times, now make sure your hearing this……it takes on average 7 times of being exposed to an offer for someone to buy or join your affiliate program. How do you give people more information if you don’t have a list? ***Raw traffic converts very poorly, that is why you post links to sales pages and affiliate programs all over the place and no body hardly ever responds! The people who sign up to be on your list want to know more about you and what you are offering them.

3.  Affiliate programs and business offers come and go like the wind online………what happens when you finally have built up a matrix in one of these affiliate programs and you worked 4 hours a day 5 days a week for an entire year just to get 50 people involved, and all of a sudden they close the doors. Some of you may remember the spider web marketing system, its gone or is it? Well its only gone for you and the other members but not the owner, you all helped him build a massive list! I guarantee you he is still sending email to all the members……..he can there all subscribed to his list…..he owns it. Now I am not bashing the owner of the spiderweb marketing system…no he was very smart and built his business the right way. Do you still want to invest your time and energy in something thats not yours? See if you build your email marketing list first and foremost you do not have to worry when the owner shuts down the affiliate program, you can join another and email your friends about it.

You made your business priority number one by building your email marketing list, so no worry, you have built a relationship with those on your list, they know and trust you and will want to know what else they can do to make money online or will want to find out about the newest marketing tools you are using to increase your profits.

4. Believe it or not people actually want to be on someones email marketing list, its easier, they dont have to go searching all over the internet to find what they are looking for. I am on many email list, I love getting new email from sources I trust and subjects I want more information on. I love learning new stuff and being the first to find out about new marketing tools. Besides most people want help in building their online business dont they? What ever niche you are in people like to be better educated, I do not always remember to see if a website has been updated or added some new information, it is a lot easier to subscribe to their list and get an email when they have something new for me.

5. You will never get wealthy online with one product or affiliate program, products get outdated, affiliate programs die off or better scripts come out, businesses fade in the wind. Have you ever heard the saying “Dont Keep All Your Eggs In One Basket, They Might All Break”,  so what is the one way you can create additional income streams online without creating a ton more work or expense? Email Marketing is the only way, you have all ready built up a list of subscribers, all you need to do now is send out an email, simple is it not?

See here is the question you should really be asking yourself:

How do I make the most amount of money,  in the least amount of time, with the least amount of effort, with the least amount of investment?

Now I am not saying building your list will happen over night or there wont be expenses to building it, but I truly know this is the best answer and the path with the least amount of wasted time and money. Because if you dont build your email marketing list you will be spinning your wheels over and over again getting very little results if any! I know, I did it my first two years online…………those two years were not good!

So I really hope I have accomplished one thing by writing this post, that either I have convinced you that you need to start building your email marketing list or for those of you who have all ready started,  I hope that I have reinforced why building your email list should always be your first priority. I truly know and can relate to those of you who are struggling to make a living online, I was once like you and nothing ever changed until I started building my list. Email marketing is your business, no body can take it away from you and it really is the only push button profit system there is.

Forum marketing is another one of the great free
yet targeted traffic generators. I have had added tons of subscribers to my email list as a direct results of forum marketing, But there are a few things you have to know about it to make it effective.

Don’t try to sell anything in your posts. The idea is that by providing good advice
and becoming a genuine contributor, people will click on your site link because
they’ll start to see you as an expert in your niche.

Use a search engine to find forums in your niche. Just type forums followed by
your keyword. Example:  forums traffic exchanges

The best way to approach forums is to find ones
in your niche, (obviously). Read the forum rules
and pay particular attention to the rules on
making posts. It’s best if you can find forums that
allow you to include a signature block at the end
of your posts. This is where you can put a link to
your Tep Splash or Squeeze Page, and add a catchy title or subject line.

When you start making posts, give advice where possible and you can also ask
genuine questions. Show real interest, which shouldn’t be difficult if you’re
genuinely interested in your niche. Find a way to answer peoples questions or give them solutions.

Here Are Some Forum Posting Tips

Make sure after you register to set up your signature.
This is usually a little 250 character signature/ad which
will appear in every one of your posts.

After you post your ads, the next step is to start to read the
ads of other posters. You have the opportunity to respond,
to these posts, ask questions, solicit joint ventures or just comment.
If you have set up your signature file in the profile section
your signature will get included in all your comments.

The cool part of responding to other people’s posts is that not
only will the poster be notified of your response but they will
also see your signature. This is additional advertising for you.

Plus all your replies, comments, and signature files are posted
on the forum website and indexed by the search engines.
Some people have replied to thousands of forum posts.
This gives them unbelievable amounts of free traffic and
permanent links in the search engines.

So do not just post your ads. Set up your signature in the
profile section and reply to other poster’s ads.
You will be surprised how much you will learn as well.
You may find some valuable joint venture partners,
advertising opportunities etc.

Also make sure that you click the “Notify me when
a reply is posted” checkbox when you set up new posts.
This way you will be notified
when someone replies to your post.

So to summarize:
1. Set your signature ad in the profile section after registration (use a splash or squeeze page so people can subscribe for more information, build your email list always first and foremost).
2. Do not just post your ad and leave. Read the ads of others
and post your comments which will include your signature
file ad.
3. Always check “Notify me when a reply is posted” when
creating a new post.
4. Answer peoples questions, they will trust and respect you, this will
help build your brand image and credibility

****Note if the forum allows, always upload a picture of your self, not your dog.
You are building your credibility.

As much surfing and time most of us internet marketers spend online, we are more at risk to being  exposed to various viruses, malware and trojans and other malicious attacks. So make sure you keep your computer well protected and up to date.

Look out New Viruses Are Going Around they will destroy your hard drive!

I had to pass this on to everyone today, there has been some pretty vicious viruses that are on the loose. One of them put a an attack on my computer but my avast antivirus was able to stop it after the viruse made several tries at taking over my system. I have a feature with my avast anti-virus that allows me to remove viruses before my computer lets anything else load. Fortunately my anti-virus program has been working hard and doing a great job.

One of them is a fake antivirus that trys to mimic your antivirus software you have installed on your computer, one of the ways you can spot it, is it pops up and acts as though it is scanning your computer for viruses. Users are tricked into thinking their computer has been infected and they must buy software to remove the viruses. Once installed, the fake anti-virus may also install other malware such as spam bots or keyloggers. The virus may use names that are similar to the name of your anti-virus software or try to look and act like your windows security system.

There is another one I know about, Blackmailing virus infects computers by installing a Trojan horse.

Blackmailing virus is a new type of Malware called Kenzero. It is a Trojan horse designed to profit from victims whose computers are infected. The virus installs itself on computers through a popular file-share service called Winni.

Viruses on computers can usually do damage to the hardware. This Malware demands a ransom by prompting for a credit card number. It can ridicule and embarrass its computer victims.

Browsing History

The Trojan captures the user’s browsing history on the infected computer. It then sends the information to a public website. Once the user realizes that their private information is on the Web for everyone to see, the website demands payment to have it removed.

Internet Schemes

However, the virus is a bit tricky and plays psychology on its victim. It uses the term “settle your violation of copyright law.” The user feels convinced that they downloaded illegal files from an online service.

Moreover, the Kenzero Trojan virus knows what sites the user has visited. The site that publishes the private information is registered to a fake individual called Shoen Overns. Authorities have tied this name to other related virus schemes on the Internet.

What can I do to prevent my computer from becoming infected?
While there is no method that can 100% guarantee that your computer will be not be infected with malware, there are a number of steps that you can take to lessen the probability of this happening.

1. Make sure you have automatic updates on if you are using windows, to keep your windows operating system up to date and you have the latest security updates. If you use a different operating system make sure you keep it up to date.

2. Make sure you use a very good anti-virus program, like avast and make sure you keep it updated. Check everyday before you begin your online activities to see if there are any updates to download. It is best practice to run a scan with your antivirus/antispyware product on a regular basis.

I had to update this post today, because I was hit again by the same virus, I thought my antivirus software had removed it all, but it came back!

I found some more good information today in my quest to remove my own virus from my computer. Microsoft has a free virus scanning tool to remove viruses, that works very well. Here is the link to there free tool.

They also have a toll free number you can call and they will try to walk you through the removal of your virus,  malware or trojan.

You can call 1-866-PCSafety or 1-866-727-2338. This phone number is for virus and other security-related support. It is available 24 hours a day for the U.S. and Canada.

I thought I would post this question today, and hope that I can reach some of you who are struggling to make money online. Fortunately for me, I owned several offline businesses in my past so I really didn’t have to adjust my mental attitude much when it came to making money online. Once I learned the marketing, (took me two years to understand it, but I never had no system like this one to walk into neither)  anyway for me the marketing was the tricky part, I all ready understood that I wasnt going to get rich overnight and it was going to take a lot of effort and some money to get things going.

I learned along time ago delayed gratification, most of us are so use too going to work for 8 hours a day 5 days a week and then getting a paycheck at the end of the week that we dont understand any way else. Now if you have ever been a business owner, or gone to school for a long, long time like to be a doctor, most likely you understand delayed gratification because you had to put in the time and money long before you ever really got paid. This is one of the reasons so many people fail with online marketing, its not that their stupid they just dont understand delayed gratification and what the rewards are if you just stick with it.

It kinda works like this…………First you work, work, work, work, work, work, work and then you get paid a little. Then you learn a little more and become somewhat experienced so you work, work, work, work, work, work, and once again you get paid, but this time you get paid twice. Now you role up your sleeves and think hey I am really starting to understand this so you……………………..work, work, work, work, work, so Wow you get paid, paid, paid! Your really starting to fly along now so you work, work, work, work, and GET PAID A WHOLE LOT MORE!…………Finally after some time has passed you have started to become somewhat of an expert other people are relying on you for help and now it seems like every time you work you get paid, paid, paid, paid, paid, paid, paid!

That is kinda how most businesses work online or off……..you get paid less or nothing in the beginning when you are doing all the work and get paid a ton of money later when you are hardly doing anything. You just have to make it through your learning curve, how long that is only time will tell and you will never find out if you give up. That was the first decision I made when coming online to make money, that I wouldn’t quit no matter how long it took.

So back to the question “How Do You Look At Your Internet Business?”

You really need to ask yourself this. Is this just a hobby, do you see it as a real viable business or is it something your just toying around with? Answering these questions will help you define the time and resources you are willing to put into it and also what you will get out of it. I get a whole lot out of my online business because I put a lot into it, I expected to work hard but I also knew my effort would eventually pay off handsomely as long as I never gave up. You really need to have the right mental attitude to be successful in any business.

Understanding delayed gratification, and having the right mental attitude is a huge part to being successful online. You will be successful in your mind long before you are successful with your internet business. Remember this “You will always act on your belief system” What do I mean by this? Your actions will never go beyond what you believe, you will ask the wrong questions. What separates the poor online marketer from the rich one, not asking the right questions.

Example:

Why isn’t this working for me? or What can I do today to get better results?

Why should I pay money to get website traffic, I dont even know if it will work? or How can I increase my website traffic and double my efforts?

Why does surfing traffic exchanges have to be so boring? or What are some things I can do today to make surfing traffic exchanges more energizing so I dont get bored?

Do I really need to join all these programs, maybe I will only join a few of them? or What can I do to speed up the process of joining all these programs so I can get them all done today?

Try this, take a piece of paper and make two columns write down your answers for each set of questions the first side is obviously the wrong questions to ask yourself  and the other side is the right questions to ask. Then right down what you think the outcome of those answers would be? I think you will begin to understand what separates those who make money online and those who dont? “What questions are you asking yourself” Remember what I said you will always act on your belief system, there is no way of getting around it.
