Richard Weberg

I have been buying solo ads from providers for years..I found the best solo ad providers by constantly testing and buying solo ads.

So through my personal experience and my sons of buying well over 1000 solo ads, I will list here the ones that we feel from (Testing) are the absolute best providers to buy from.

Let us cover some other information first for those reading this, that maybe still do not understand what solo ads are and how they work.

What Is A solo Ad?

A solo ad is a form of email advertisement being sent out to part or the entire subscriber base of an online newsletter (someones or companies personal email list).

Anyone who’s been in affiliate marketing for a while will most likely have heard of solo ads. But if that’s not your business niche, here’s the deal: Solo ads are email-based advertisements you buy from other email list owners, this may be from a person or a company.

They’re typically sent as dedicated emails – so the entire message is all about your offer. They send this to part or the entire subscriber base of their online newsletter.

Solo ads are an effective advertising solution, especially for people who are in affiliate marketing, MLM, business opportunities, or anything to do with the make money online niche.

How do Solo Ads Work?

You purchase a solo ad usually by the number of clicks. The seller will almost always have packages set up you can buy, as an example.

100 Clicks – $50.00

250 clicks – $125.00

500 clicks – $240.00

1000 clicks – $400.00

ETC…

Usually the more clicks you buy, the price will go down a bit. They give you a break, because you are spending more money with them.

Solo ads can range in price of .40 cents a click on up to 2.00 a click, depending on where or who you are buying from.

Email Tracking Software.

Once your offer is sent, and as people click on your link in the email, the seller (Solo ad provider) keeps track of this, using tracking software such as ClickMeter. Once you reach the number of clicks you purchased, the provider will then stop your ad.

Most solo ad providers will over deliver a bit, meaning if your purchased 100 clicks they might give you 115. Solo ad providers can control this because they use special links in the emails that they use from their tracking software.

Solo ads vendors use tracking software to:

1. Certify the quality of the clicks they sell.
2. Share real-time reports with their purchasers.
3. Use advanced redirects to block clicks after the purchaser reaches the desired number of clicks.

Price Will Not Always Determine Quality.

Just because you may pay more for clicks at one vendor versus another does not always mean the quality of their clicks are better. Price will not always determine quality, you need to test your offer with different providers. Sometimes you will find some cheaper clicks have out performed the more expensive ones, not always, but some of the time.

Redundant Buying.

You do not want to keep buying over and over again from 1 vendor, you need a few places you purchase solo ads from, this is so you do not keep reaching the same demographics of people over and over again, because this will lead to lower conversions over time. A providers email list only grows so much every week.

For the best results I rotate who I buy from every week. I stick to our best solo ad providers and occasionally test out new ones.

Testing Solo Ad Providers.

I will say this first and foremost, NEVER EVER buy a solo ad, if you have no clue what email marketing is, I repeat, NEVER EVER buy a solo ad if you have no clue what email marketing is. You will be wasting your time and money.

Solo ads are very effective, but the offer you are advertising better be attached to your lead capture page link, and not a sales or join me page. Click here now if you do not know anything about email marketing.

I want you to understand that before you can even test a solo ad provider you need to be using all of your advertising and website traffic to build your email marketing list, because otherwise you have nothing to test.

Buy Smaller Solo Ad Packages First.

Testing a solo ad provider entails buying smaller click packages at first. I recommend buying at least 200-500 clicks, you need some numbers to run a decent test.

1. You want to make sure that their list is responsive and you are getting opt-ins from their clicks, somewhere between 20 and 40%.

Example: You purchase 200 clicks from a vendor, you want to make sure that it resulted in 40 to 80 new subscribers on your own email list.

2. You want to make sure after the opt-in the subscribers you ended up getting are responsive and at least some of them are opening your emails.

Example: If you got 50 new subscribers from a solo ad purchase and after you emailed your new subscribers several times, if none of them opened your emails, I would not buy from that vendor again.

Once you have confidence in the solo ad vendor then purchase their larger packages.

Solo Ads Do Not Always Result In Immediate Sales.

If you have been building your email list for any length of time you already should understand sales come from your follow up emails, they need a chance to get to know you a bit, and trust you.

So send broadcast emails to your list every single day, this is the best practice to build, like, know and trust fast with your new subscribers you get from solo ads. You want your leads to start to recognize your emails quickly.

We have people that have been on our email list for 2 years before they have bought from us. I call it:

The ready now’s, the ready later’s and the way ready later’s

You want to build your email list at a fast enough pace that you find lots of all three, and through momentum you will start building a non stop stream of sales and commissions.

Set A Budget And Stick To It.

No matter how much that is, if your budget only allows for you to buy a 100 click solo ad weekly, then do it and stick to it! You can eventually scale it as you start to earn more money. Keep putting your money back into solo ads, and build your email list bigger and faster. Once you reach a desired income goal, and 20% beyond, only then start taking that 20% money out of your business. This is how you build a 6 plus figure income online and keep growing it.

Do not use your rent money to pay for solo ads, find the money to build your business, but always make sure you take care of you and your family’s needs first and foremost.

So without any further ado, here are the..

Best Solo Ad Providers We Buy From.

1. Traffic Authority

2. MLM Leads

3. Udimi

4. TrafficForMe

These solo ad providers have yielded me and my son the best possible results. They have multiple list (Sellers) to choose from, or that they choose for you. They are more like a solo ad platform, because of having multiple list.

We have purchased from all of them for years.

In Conclusion.

Solo ads are an affordable way to build a list fast and build ones income. But there are some sob stories of people getting burned. And there are other sob stories of marketers simply not doing their homework and thus getting really bad results. (Like not using this advertising strategy to build their email list)

And please, start slow. You won’t really know how your email/landing page creative performs until you’ve tried it across 3-5 different lists. Just because your offer tanks on one list does not mean the owner is a scammer.

It may just mean their list doesn’t care for your offer. This is why you need to test and follow a budget no matter what.

When you do the right stuff and have things humming along it gets really fun, but you got to make sure and take advice, like the advice I did outline in this blog article.

We are sharing with you the best solo ad providers based on our experience and sharing them in confidence, because of our personal testing and purchases through them.

We can not guarantee you any results, because we do not know, if you will follow the advice given in this article, we do not know if your offers are any good, and we do not know if you will follow up with your new leads and subscribers when you get them.

All we can say, is our results have been excellent, but we have been doing this stuff now for years and understand how to get the best results from our advertising.

We worked at it until we did..

You can try them now.

  1. Hey Richard!

Always love your posts and I have hired Jon to do my website. I always thought of t4me and mlm leads as solo ad market places and have a bad taste in my mouth especially when it comes to udimi.

The reason being is I had caught a dude scamming me with fake clicks and confronted him aggressively and he refunded me and begged me to give him dive stars…which I did.

I was wondering if you had a list of solo ad vendors because I have met a lot of friends of mine who have gotten great traffic from udimi.

Im a beginner; I hope this doesn’t come off as preaching, I’m a huge fan of money peeps, and your yt channel, and I understand that if you don’t know what to ask a lot of solo ad vens will take advantage of you.

Not to mention if your “lead in aff. offer” is your go to…you need to inquire when was the last person who bought (and in your example above you alluded to this) because If a list has just been hit by it chances are interest has sunk dramatically.

My number one question, and of course correct me if I’m wrong for this is just what I’m seeing is that within the past few years the go to Get Response has gotten significantly worse and within this past year for beginners who are new, affiliate marketers are being increasingly targeted from GR, to active campaign, and even send lane which was know for supporting email or direct response or online affiliate marketers have been cracking down.

I’m currently considering aweber and convert kit and perhaps ontra because of the membership sites and course creations.

I’m genuinely curious of what you think about memborium, systems.io, and ontra for this reason. Im so sorry for the long question and totally understand if you don’t answer it lol 🙂

    Cheers my friend!

    Dylan

    1. Hey Thanks Dylan for your feedback really appreciate it my friend. Yes there can be bad sellers on Udimi, and with other solo ad resources as well. The good thing is how you caught the guy selling you fake clicks and you got a refund, and with a platform like Udimi these bad sellers usually do not last very long, their rating system will weed them out. Udimi also has many excellent & trusted solo ad sellers. We use the seller ratings to choose who we buy from on Udimi, we look for amount of people reporting sales, and repeat buyers is very important. If you see that people repeatedly come back and buy from that person, it is a good sign that they are experiencing a good solo ad run with them, so they come back and purchase again. I did a video for you with more information on how we choose solo ad sellers on Udimi. https://youtu.be/I-AQorIbqac For the question on AR’S we use and recommend, we use Getresponse and Sendshark and now Groove funnels as Groove has a full CRM..Read this post here we did my friend. https://emoneypeeps.com/blog/full-groovefunnels-review-lifetime-deal/
